A joint team of the President’s Residence and its Tikvah Yisraelit Israeli Hope initiative visited the Institute and met with the staff, to learn more about the Haredi community and the Institute’s various areas of activity. The team got to hear about the Institute’s various projects in education as well as in data collection and analysis. Vice Chair of the Institute Nitsa (Kaliner) Kasir presented participants with data concerning poverty in the Haredi community; The Institute’s Fellow Yisrael Tick presented a view of Haredi youth and the education system in Haredi society, and senior researcher at the Institute Assaf Tsachor-Shai presented various databases, demonstrating the importance of data alongside their correct interpretation.
