At a discussion held at the Knesset’s Science and Technology Forum on December 24, 2018, on the topic of discrimination of women in high-tech, Vice Chair Nitsa (Kaliner) Kasir lectured on the subject of Haredi Women in the Workforce – with Emphasis on High-Tech: Facts, Trends, and Challenges.

In addition to presenting cultural and sociological facets of Haredi women that impact their workforce integration, data on trends in employment and academic studies, as well as training options and the types of careers Haredi women gain access to, Kasir offered explanations for the gaps in salary as well as the necessary action needed to increase their salary rates.
