The Institute completed the “Roadmap to Women’s Employment” study, which surveyed the scope and quality of vocational training programs at Haredi seminaries, where 90% of Haredi women pursue postsecondary education after high school.

To advance the study’s findings and recommendations, the Institute convened a Steering Committee comprised of key representatives from the seminaries, Haredi rabbis, government ministries (Treasury, Labor, Welfare, Education, Health, Digital Israel), NGOs, and philanthropies. The study has identified the healthcare and high-tech fields as key areas for focused intervention. At the meeting, the Director of MAHAT (The Government Institution for Technological and Scientific Training) stressed the importance of collaboration to upgrade the standard of vocational training, and representatives of the Health Ministry presented an overview of the potential for Haredi women in paramedical professions.
