    The dwelling crowding index was calculated by dividing the number of persons in a household by the total number of rooms used by the household for living purposes. Source: Labor Force Survey. In 2012 this survey underwent significant changes, and any comparison between the period before that year and the period after it must take that into consideration. Haredim: until 2013, as defined by last school attended; from 2014 onward – as self-defined. The cities with the greatest concentration of haredim in the various districts: Jerusalem – Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh; Tel Aviv – Bnei Brak; Central – Elad; South – Ashdod; Judea and Samaria – Beitar Illit and Modi'in Illit.
