The rate of expenditure on education was calculated as the average expense on educational services for a household with children. Disposable income was calculated as the household income after transfer payments and taxes. The expenditure and the income are presented in terms of 2018 prices. Source: Household Expense Survey. In 2012 this survey underwent significant changes, and any comparison between the period before that year and the period after it must take that into consideration.
